I am pleased to welcome you to Collegiate International School – a warm and vibrant learning community located in the heart of Umm Suqeim 2 away from the traffic, towers and noise of everyday life in Dubai. At CIS, our team is committed to the holistic development of every learner, while supporting students to reach the highest levels of achievement. From Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, our values-driven educational program focuses on engaging children in a holistic, ambitious, choice filled program.
As a community of international learners, we know first-hand that developing warm relationships among students, teachers and parents creates an environment where students feel they belong. Our community is our strength – we truly believe that happy children make the best learners.

We believe that your child’s learning should incorporate, international mindedness and applying learning to local, regional and global contexts; inquiry-based approaches which extend and applies learning; a broad, balanced, conceptual and connected curriculum, and collaboration, communication and teamwork.
Collegiate International School is an American International School. Our curriculum is mapped to the New York State Standards and taught through the best practices of international education systems. From Pre-K to Grade 5 your children will benefit from the holistic, inquiry-based approaches of the IB Primary Years Programme while focusing on the concept-based standards of New York State.
In Grades 6 – 8, the focus remains on the New York State Standards which are delivered through the principles and practices of the IB Middle Years Programme. In Grades 9 – 10 students complete the first two years of the US High School Diploma, with more electives and honors courses becoming available.
Students in Grades 11 – 12 have a choice of programs and courses. All students complete the final requirements of the US High School Diploma, some will add AP and/or IB Courses to make their qualification more competitive for university entrance and others will take the full IB Diploma Programme. Your child will be guided on pathways and course choices all the way through school by our dedicated Careers and College Counsellors.

Empowering Minds, Inspiring FuturesAt CIS our curriculum is aligned to the New York State Standards, taught through the IB continuum of programs. All students are prepared for completing the US High School Diploma in Grades 9 – 12. We offer both the IB Diploma Programme and Advance Placement (AP) courses as options for study in Grades 11 and 12, ensuring flexible options are available to meet the needs of your children. |

A BALANCED AND VARIED EXPERIENCEAll students participate in a balanced and varied range of activities that will enhance and enrich their experience at CIS. Our activity program is essential to developing a well-rounded CIS Wild Cat. We encourage all students to get involved and undertake at least one CCA to support their ‘in class’ learning. |

Our campus & Facilities
We are located in Umm Suqueim 2, between Al Wasl Road and Jumeirah Beach Rd, with views of the iconic Burj Al Arab. Our state of the art classrooms are equipped with the latest technology to enhance learning, with an award-winning network infrastructure to provide seamless and cyber-safe connectivity throughout.
The school site has all the facilities needed for holistic student growth, and more, with a multi purpose sports hall, 2 swimming pools, STEM/Innovation lab, Early Years Discovery Centre, dance studio, lecture hall, basketball and tennis courts, along with a well-resourced library and fully-equipped science, computing and design technology labs.
