IB DP

The CIS High school program provides a personalized pathway for every student to ensure the best university outcomes for all

At Collegiate International School, student life in High School is designed to support students in their academic excellence, personal growth, and future aspirations.

With multiple pathways for achievement - including the US High School Diploma, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) - students are empowered to pursue an education that aligns with their interests, strengths, and university goals.

  • US High School Diploma – A broad and balanced curriculum meeting international university entrance requirements for 4 year degrees and International Foundation Programmes
  • Advanced Placement (AP) Program – College-level courses in specific subjects that allow students to earn university credits and demonstrate subject mastery.
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) – A globally recognized program that fosters critical thinking, independent research, and interdisciplinary learning, preparing students for top universities worldwide.
University & Career Preparation

Students are advised on their choice of program and courses, depending on the academic strengths, areas of interest and university ambitions. Throughout High School they are supported to make choices that will help them achieve their goals.

With a strong focus on college and career readiness, students in Grades 10-12 benefit from:

  • University counseling and career guidance to help them navigate applications, scholarships, and internships.
  • Workshops on personal statement writing, interview skills, and standardized testing (SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS).
  • Partnerships with universities for mentorship, networking, and early admissions opportunities.
Holistic Learning

At CIS, students receive instruction across a range of subject disciplines, aligned with their chosen pathway and thrive in an inclusive and diverse school environment that promotes mutual respect, empathy, and global citizenship. Through service-learning projects, cultural awareness activities, and ethical discussions, students develop a strong sense of social responsibility and prepare to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Our High School students are confident, well-rounded, and globally-minded individuals. With a strong foundation in academic excellence, leadership, and service, they graduate equipped with the knowledge and skills to thrive in university and beyond.
